The Government of Pichincha has under its administration to this spectacular place, which due to its characteristic tropical dry height is unique in the country and South America.

It is a great tourist attraction ideal for national and foreign visitors who want to live a moment of recreation or rest and oxygenation in contact with nature.

Tourists can perform various activities. Among them guided walks, swimming, camping, camp fires in chozones, horseback riding, tours in an ecological train, horseback riding and others. There are also basketball, soccer, soccer and tennis courts.

Two of the routes are of category ‘inclusive’, and have all the signage in braille writing.

It is located in the parish of Malchinguí, belonging to the Pedro Moncayo in Pichincha Province. 35 km north of the Quito City in the sub-basin of the Guayllabamba  River.
